Mr. November

For once, I'm not a month behind in giving a "shout-out" to our employee of the month! This week we had a lot to celebrate: three employees turned 30 and Tim had his TEN YEAR anniversary with us! That's a lot to be joyful for.

Unlike many of us around here, Tim does not like to be the center of attention. It's virtually impossible to catch him in a photo or to get him up in front of a group. So I had to be a little sneaky in getting him to join us all for lunch.

Congratulations, Tim! Happy Birthday Nancy, Dan, and Adam!

Tim moved out to Oregon from Kalamazoo, Michigan. The minute I met him - back in 1999 - I knew he was someone with that old-fashioned Midwest work ethic. Tim gets to it and he gets it done. He also has this crazy, quirky creative side to him. He worked with me on creating our Fleur de Lys Measuring Cups and Posts. If you own a set of these, you should turn your set over. You will notice that Tim put a little happy person on the underside of your set. If I wasn't telling you this, you might never have noticed. Things like this tend to pop up around the shop - and on products.

We all really appreciate Tim. He's one of our treasures and we hope he'll stick around with us for awhile!  Tim is pictured above with Carl, our Master Potter. (Carl hates it when I call him that but it's what he is!)
